Welcome to the web page of David & Beverley Harvey.
Daverley is a CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) registered kennel name which was established in 1986.
We no longer breed dogs, but are a hobby kennel specializing in training and exhibiting our own dogs.
We are located in Fonthill, Ontario , Canada, in the heart of the Niagara Peninsula.
We have been in dogs for over 35 years and have owned Boxers, Golden Retrievers, Pembroke Welsh Corgis(breeder/owners), and currently live with 2 Border Collies and 2 Australian Shepherds and 1 Parson/Jack Russell Terrier.
In March 2003 we welcomed a Maine Coon kitten at Daverley. Visit Pippin's page to see photos. Our links page has a reference to his breeder.
Our competitive interests lie in the performance sports of Agility and Flyball, as well as Herding/Stock, but we also train/compete in Conformation, Obedience, Disc and Rally-O .
Over the years, the dogs of Daverley have earned HITs, RHITs (herding and obedience), multiple Best of Breeds and Group placements (conformation), First in class (agility) and division placements (flyball) and ranked among Canada's Top Dogs (obedience,flyball, herding). But more importantly they earned our loyalty, love and respect.
NEWS FLASH!!
Flirt and Paisley among NAFA's Top Point Earners for 2004
Flirt was ranked #201 and Paisley was ranked #191 by NAFA(North America Flyball Association). We're very proud of this achievement as there are approximately 16,421 dogs playing Flyball.
Paisley (Australian Shepherd) is ranked #21 of 1271 in her breed.
