Massage, Who can benefit by using it?

By using PRESSURE, RHYTHMIC MOVEMENTS and apply ESSENTIAL OILS, physicians of the past have helped their patients.
MASSAGE THERAPY is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body to gain a therapeutic response. Other modalities (therapies, techniques) like hot and cold packs, ice, hot tubbing, etc, heat lamps and exercise are often encouraged by the massage therapist.
A Masseuse has extensive training in anatomy, physiology, pathology as well as the action theory and practical uses of massage. Usually they work along with physicians, dentists, chiropractors, physiotherapists and other health-care professionals. They are often found in private practe as well as at extended-care facilities and health clubs.
Its therapeutic use affects the circulatory (blood and lymph), muscular, fascial and nervouse systems of the body. It is often very effective in controlling chroinic/acute pain, reducing stress and creating a sense of relaxation and well-being in our STRESS-FILLED society.
In most countries massage therapists are licensed and help their patients obtain relief from low back pain, migraine, arthritis, whiplash, respiratory problems and neck/shoulder tension.
Personally I have had extensive massage care following the last two car incidents. I have found their care helps to shorten the healing time and cut down on the number of chiropractic adjustments needed to restore homeostasis (Normalicy).
