Dark Night of the Soul

St. John of the Cross coined the phrase,
Dark Night of the Soul,  to explain
God's activity to deepen God's relationship with us.

We will learn what Dark Night of the Soul means
and its Good News for our lives.

Christian Meditation

Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Fireside Room.

We have just started a series from a Stanford University professor,
talking about the historical Jesus and the gospel writers,
and the known history of the Hebrew people, from a historic and anthropological basis.
Some other topics we cover are:


All of this is followed by a time of meditation on the gospel reading of the day.
The material source is from podcasts downloaded off the internet from various sites.
e.g.. Speaking of Faith, Pray as You Go, I-tunesU,
and the American Public Radio Network, CBC Tapestries and Ideas.
We meet all year round.

Christian education programs are available for people of all ages. Children's education is offered every Sunday, and in special programs throughout the year. Bible Study is held on Wednesday mornings, year round. Preparation for Baptism, Communion, Confirmation, and Marriage are offered as needed.
