Freshwater Photography

As I do most of my diving in the Great Lakes, most of my underwater photography has also been done in these waters. When I first got involved, I was interested in photographing biological, historical and geological elements of the underwater world. This led to my first exhibit of underwater photography-FRESHWATER. The exhibit, with the assistance of the late Peter Harris, premiered at Rodman Hall in St. Catharines, Ontario in 1988. It was shown at several other venues including Lawrence House in Sarnia and the Marine Museum of the Great Lakes at Kingston. The set of prints was only 8x 12 in size but they portrayed some interesting elements of the freshwater environment. I still do most of my work in the Great Lakes.
