Please Visit Turbo-Tim's News Hummer Shoot-out! Just saw on TV here that in Beverly Hills there was a shoot-out between a Hummer and a Mercedes. It appears that the Hummer cutoff the Mercedes in Beverly Hills. The Mercedes driver got a little pissed and pulled along side the Hummer. In return the Hummer driver shot at the Mercedes right through his own driver side window. The guy in the Mercedes jump out of his car and started to run. Later the guy in the Mercedes told police he thought he was being robbed. Oh well, if a Hummer can't drive faster I guess they can just shoot em. And, this is another addition to Hummers on TV list. | A Stoke of Luck
I had to go to a business meeting in Patchogue,Long Island,NY today. I decided to take the Hummer so I could do a beach run afterwards. For those of you not from around here I went on the Long Island Expressway which is dubbed the world's longest parking lot. Everything was going fine until I got almost to the exit. All the traffic was stopped in both directions. I was about 1/4 mile from an overpass. It seemed like an accident at first. I later found out that they just had about 5 inched of rain in an hour and underneath the overpass there was deep water. This is an 8 lane total road. I was in the left lane and the HOV lane was empty. So I made my way up to the front. Everyone was out of their cars just looking at this lake. there was a volvo in the water up to the headlights so I knew I was going to have some fun. I backed up about 10 feet and nailed it. There was water everywhere. I got to the other side turned around and went back slowly. Everyone was applauding. I made a couple of circles and took off. It sure made my day. I got to the meeting a little late along with some other people. It turned out that one of the other people saw me doing it but didn't know it was me. He couldn't stop talking about it. HUMMERS RULE.
