Lupus Foundation of Ontario wishes to convey our deepest sympathies to the families of those who have lost their battle with lupus. We thank those who request that "In Memorial" donations, in memory of their loved ones, be made to the Lupus Foundation of Ontario to allow us to continue with valued research and public awareness campaigns.

Donations made to mark a wedding anniversary, a birthday, retirement from employment or to honour a friendship or wedding are a meaningful way to share your happiness during a special time in your life.

It is through your donations ~ both personal and corporate, your memorial contributions, estate planning bequests and membership fees that allow our Foundation to continue to focus on funding valued research, distributing literature and knowledge about lupus, attending Health Fairs, and maintaining a 800 help line to answer daily concerns.

Tax receipts and thank-you cards are issued to donors upon receipt of payment. The next-of-kin receives a card stating that a memorial donation has been made in honour of their loved one, noting the name and address of the donor. The amount of the donation is never mentioned, nor are names and addresses ever divulged to other charities. We respect your privacy. We do not rent, sell, or trade our mailing lists.
