The APS Foundation of America, Inc is a non-profit organization dealing with Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APS). The only one in the United States and one of only two in the world!

The APS Foundation of America, Inc. was founded in June of 2005 and is dedicated to fostering and facilitating joint efforts in the areas of education, support, public awareness, research and patient services in an effective and ethical manner.

The APS Foundation of America, Inc. is the only United States nonprofit health agency dedicated to bringing national awareness to Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APS), the major cause of multiple miscarriages, thrombosis and young Strokes and heart attacks. We are a volunteer run, community based 501(c)3 non-profit Public Charity organization.

As you know, Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APS) is the major cause of young strokes, many miscarriages, both arterial and venous thrombosis, and heart attacks.  The major goals of this first ever APS non-profit group in the United States are education for both the medical community and general public, to provide patient support and referral to services and help with research.  We have already successfully had a TV segment on the Discovery Health Channel: Mystery Diagnosis: Falling through the Cracks.

This autoimmune disease, often connected with Lupus, which some doctors estimate 1 in 200 high risk individuals may have, is treatable.   APS is also a blood clotting disorder, thus affecting many different areas of the body. Hematology, Neurology, Rheumatology, Obstetrics & Gynecology and General Medicine are all involved in the care of APS patients.

We are formally asking you to please place our website on your page.  Our URL is www.apsfa.org.   We have reciprocated your link.  You can find it at www.apsfa.org/links.htm.

If you or your agency are interested in a partnership with us, please contact us at 608-782-2626, the address below or please visit our website.   We thank you for your time and consideration.
