WHEREAS Canadians, in unprecedented number, are becoming ill with vague symptoms that are debilitating and in extreme cases, may cause death. The majority of these citizens seeking a diagnosis are referred to Physciatrists/Psychologists as family physicians are unable to determine a cause or diagnosis for these symptoms which creates further stress.

WHEREAS the symptoms present as: headaches, dizziness, nausea, concentration difficulties, memory loss, irritability, depression, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, weakness, tremors, muscle spasms, numbness, tingling, muscle and joint pain, flu-like symptoms, fever, seizures, paralysis, psychosis, stroke, pain or pressure in the chest, low or high blood pressure, shortness of breath, sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma, skin rash, burning, facial flushing, pain or burning in the eyes, enlarged thyroid, dryness of lips, tongue and eyes, nosebleeds, hair loss, immune abnormalities

WHEREAS these signs may indicate serious autoimmune illnesses such as Multiple Sclerosis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Fibromyalgia, along with many other recognized autoimmune illnesses and they all can be indicative of the sign of electrical hypersensitivity.

WHEREAS there has been no governmental funded all-inclusive research study to determine why Canadian citizens are increasingly becoming ill with vague undiagnosed symptoms and this is a great cause of concern as it is a national health problem that should have one singular national network for greater visibility and research networking.

We, the undersigned, hereby petition the Canadian government(s) to work cohesively to determine the cause of these illnesses. We ask that the various Ministries of Health, Ministry of the Environment, governing regulatory bodies for chemicals, pesticides, Natural Resources development, Watershed management, Radiation regulatory division, Agencies for Electromagnetic fields and fluorescent lighting, determine the effectiveness of their current laws and by-laws and work diligently to enact regulations that will protect and ensure a future for all Canadians.
