Step 1 Opening screen

Change colours and save or just continue to Step 2

Step 2 Enter the spacings required

1. Select from a pre-programmed list of popular styles.
2. Load settings saved in a previous Calli-Graphic Session, or
3. Enter spacings from scratch.

Calli-Graphic Features

• Up to three Ascenders and Descenders,
• Variable spacing between guideline sets,
• Vertical or inclined Guidelines with adjustable spacing,
• Simulated nib ladder and an 'X' in the X height,
• Variable line widths, and

Step 3 Printer and Paper Setup

In step 3 you may;

1. Select printer, paper size and orientation.
2. Select or enter the width of your nib,
• Enter dimension directly or select from a dropdown list of popular brands and nib sizes
• Easily adapted for pointed pen and brush calligraphy
3. Enter details of line lengths, margins and printer dead space.
4. Includes a handy print utility to measure dead space and nib widths if desired.
5. Select the horizontal spacing for the vertical/inclined guidelines.

 



Step 4 Preview

In step 4 you preview the guidelines on a simulated page, adjust margins and vary the number of guideline sets as required.

Step 5 Printing

In step 5 you select various print options;

1. Select the number of copies to print.
2. Decide whether to print the nib ladder.
3. Decide whether to print an 'X' in the X space.
4. Decide whether to print the vertical/ inclined guidelines.
5. Set the colour (or shade of grey) you want the guidelines printed in.
6. Edit the Caption line that appears on each sheet
   

 

Step 6 Finish

In Step 6 you may;

1. Save settings for use at a future date,
2. Go back and start again, entering or changing the settings, or
3. Exit.
