The letters 'i' & 'j' are based on an inclined straight line.
(Note: this page may take some time to load because of the animations, be patient its worth it)
Start with a small curve then a straight line then end with a small serif.
'j' is similar but with a tail

'l' is similar to a tall 'i' but with a larger tail to give it more balance.

The letter 't' is similar to the 'l', both having a larger tail than the 'i'

To create the crossbar slightly rotate the pen, reducing the pen angle as
you go across.
This will give the bottom of the crossbar a slight taper.
The letter 'm' can be considered as three upright straight lines joined by two curved lines, each part of an ellipse.

Combining these
and
removing the unwanted sections gives this

As can be seen above the letter 'n' is just the first part of the 'm'
just add a small finishing serif as shown for the 'm'

'h' is like the 'n' but with a taller upright.
The 'v, y, & w' are constructed in a similar manner.
The 'y' is a 'v' with an extender down stroke.
The w is,essentially, a double v.
The 'v' consists of two straight lines, one with parallel sides, the other with slightly tapered sides.

Obtaining a tapered side requires some pen manipulation, as shown.

Start the second stroke with a flattened pen angle, say 25 deg. As you complete
the stroke sharpen the pen angle to thin out the stroke, making it tapered.
Finish with 40 degrees to match the end of the first stroke.

The 'w' is essentially two 'v's' as shown.
Complete the strokes in the order given
