The letter 'h' is based on two vertical straight lines and part of a circle, see the skeleton shape below.

This is quite similar to the 'b' , see the ductus below.

The letter 'n' is similar but the main upright is shorter

The letter 'm' is the same as the 'n' but with an extra leg.

The letter r is similar to the n but the last leg is shortened.

The letter w uses a 45 degree pen angle and consists of two broad and two narrow diagonals.

This letter shows, very effectively, the thick/ thin line effect characteristic of broad pen Calligraphy.
The letter 'v' is just one part of the 'w'.

The letter 'a' consists of a small circle, a vertical straight line, a larger ellipse and a diagonal.

The letter 'f' consists of a vertical straight line, part of an ellipse and an horizontal cross bar.
Use a 40 degree pen angle.




The letter 'k' consists of a vertical straight line, a diagonal straight line and half of a small circle.
