Maple Leaf Marksmen

.22 RIFLE "POLAR BEAR" COMPETITION

The "Polar Bear" is a fun shoot. Single shots are fired at metal silhouette targets of
decreasing size. The first 3 targets are hanging and will start swinging with each hit.
It is an elimination event; you shoot until you miss 3 times. The last shooter without 3
misses is the "Polar Bear" for the week. The first shooter out is the week's "Teddy Bear".
Any sights are permitted, including scopes.
First time competitors are allowed an extra miss, as are those without scopes.
Entry fee is $2. The "Polar Bear" wins half; the other half goes to club.

Competition begins at 10 a.m. every Sunday.
Hint: Come early and get a position at the left end of the line.
