For those who have not been up to the club for a while please note the following.

• A new panic bar has been installed on the back door of the clubhouse. This will allow us to comply with the latest fire regulations.
  
  
• Thursday evenings, from 6:30-8:30, the handgun shooters are trying to start a club league. So dig out your .22 handgun and join us for some friendly fun. The shooting is fairly informal. Individuals can shoot for club certificates which will be made up by Steve Turner and will be presented after shooters hand in 5 qualifying targets at the appropriate level. Levels are posted on the indoor range and in the clubhouse.

Some members have been bringing garbage up to the club
and dumping it over the parking lot berm. This is not a dump site.
Our neighbours will not appreciate the view of garbage on this site.

Many of you are aware that the club has been trying to upgrade the range facilities. We hope to be able to continue outdoor range work as soon as weather and ground conditions permit. Please check the clubhouse bulletin board for dates and times of upcoming work parties in April, May and June.

The club will be hosting a number of shooting events over the next few months. Here is a list of events and dates that the range will be unavailable.

April 2 - 1st Black Powder Match
May 5,6 - Junior Camp
June 3 - Match and Air Rifle
July 7,8 - Sporting Rifle Match
September 9 - Sporting Rifle

Bob Clendennin is looking into the cost for having club hats made with a crest on them. As soon as a final cost is worked out on this we will post it on the clubhouse wall. Keep watch for your chance to buy one.

Just a friendly reminder to those club members who have not paid their 2001 dues that you are now past due. Please try to correct this oversight as soon as possible.

All members are reminded that the club directors meet monthly on Sunday in the clubhouse at 11:00 AM. Come out join us and share any concerns or ideas with us. Hope to see you at the club soon.
