The Women of NABWN

The Niagara Area Business Women’s Network was founded in 1990 by three local professional women. Current members recall the days when they and only a handful of other business women would sit informally around a boardroom table, discussing their businesses and developing new friendships.

NABWN now boasts a membership of more than sixty of the most interesting and dynamic business women in the area. The meetings are held at the St. Catharines Golf & Country Club at 7:30 am, and the purpose remains the same – to provide the business women of the Niagara Region a source of support and business referrals. By limiting membership to one member per category, competition is eliminated and camaraderie is strengthened. Meeting commences at 8:00am.

The monthly breakfast meetings provide an opportunity to learn about each member’s business. The many social events allow us to get to know each other personally. Through the development of these relationships, members of NABWN benefit by gaining wider exposure to the business community, increasing important contacts and widening their client base. Not only do we strengthen our business relationships, but we develop friendships as well.
