The City of Genoa Wreck
The Genoa was a wooden steamer built in 1892 with
a length of 301 feet and a 42.5 foot beam. She sank in a collision in 1911.
The ship was raised and stripped and later scuttled in lower Lake Huron. Today
the wreck lies
in 60 feet of water.
