Reception Area The reception area offers, comfortable seating, a wide variety of current magazines, and a large play area for children. A bulletin board displays clippings of our patients' achievements in sports, the arts, the community, and various other events.

Kids Play Place We love kids! Dr. Riva's KIDS ZONE is a special area designed for kids of all ages. The giant toothbrush hanging above is the only reminder of a dental office, otherwise it's just pure fun! There is a play kitchen to make your favorite (imaginary) meal and a log cabin to camp out in. Kitchens and cabins are nice, but we also have Nintendo GAMECUBE...

Clinical Area The clinical Area is an open concept design which provides a wonderful opportunity to interact with our staff, and other patients and their parents. You might even run in to a family member or a neighbor. It is office policy to involve parents fully in the orthodontic treatment of their children so we encourage parents to accompany them into the clinic for their appointments. The majority of orthodontic visits take place in this large open area which has a nature area, sound system and televisions. There are five dental chairs in all to service the volume of patients that can occur during busy times of the day. We practice the latest methods of infection control to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. Instruments are cleaned, run through an ultrasonic, sealed in bags and autoclaved to ensure the highest level of sterilization. The autoclaves are tested on a regular basis for quality assurance purposes. The office is computerized utilizing a network of PC work stations. Orthodontic Laboratory Immediately adjacent to our clinical area is a full service orthodontic laboratory. Our lab technicians make all of orthodontic retainers used in the office. With our own lab, quality appliance construction will be assured and appliance emergencies will be handled in a very efficient manner. Retainers
