A Village Post And Beam Home

 
 

June - the flowers are thriving ...
   In the Village, we built an open concept Post and Beam home focused around  a great room. Since none of the inside walls are structural we developed a floorplan that is unique to our own use.  A framework of posts and beams are constructed connected by joinery and where necessary hidden metal fasteners. Solid foam wall panels are applied to the outside of the frame.
