  Basement  
     
Initial excavation. Fill material was revealed on east side of excavation. Footing marked in red for replacement due to fill material discovery. New knee wall on east side of basement.

The excavation for footings.  Earth is excavated down to proper elevation providing the soil is compact and undisturbed.

Step footings on northeast side. Red paint indicates footings that had to be re-done because of poor soil conditions

Knee wall just poured.

Knee wall complete on east side of site. Footings including pads for internal jack posts. Sono-tubes in place for porch support.

Forms off footings and knee wall. Awaiting forms for basement wall pour.

Weeping tile installed. Sump pit in southeast corner. Waiting for final basement wall forms and pour.

Basement ready with damp-proofing installed. Notice sono-tubes for porch.
