Who I am.

Some of you have wondered about the Mountain Goat name and who is behind it. So in this update of the site, I have included some photos and explanations.

Photo 1 - is a picture of me on a run in the Catskills, which sort of explains the Mountain Goat name pretty well. It was a better choice than some of the other nicknames.

Photo 2 - I am the guy on the right of the group, this photo explains why some call me "Chicken Legs", which isn't a great compliment I guess. That photo was taken in Dublin, Ireland. It was a great marathon with plenty of race fan support, and team support by TNT and JIM. We saw green and purple everywhere we went, and they stayed on course until the last guy finished in over 14 hours. There is also a nice pub at the 21 mile mark where you can stop and cheer your fellow runners. We settled for Harp as it is lighter than Guinness. We figure if you are going all the way, you might as well have some fun.

Photo 3 & 4 - This is a picture of me just after the Wineglass Marathon in Corning, NY. I almost look like I had fun, but it was one of those days to forget. Everything taken into account though, I still had a smile on my face, and now you know the Mountain Goat has one.

Photo 5 - This is of the race in Dublin. We plan to make this picture into a mouse pad. It will be a standard size pad, price will be $11.00 which includes everything. If you'd like one, send me an e-mail with your name and address, when they get printed, we will ship you one. You can then send your payment once you have received your pad. We will keep it this way until I start sending out pads and get no payment, then it will be money up front, but being runners as we are, we are a pretty honest group of people with high integrity. Hey, it takes something special to do a marathon, right?

We are planning and developing future items, but the book is taking top priority at present. Thanks again, Tony.
