Effective Tuesday June 23, 2009 all buses are now using St. Paul street inbound to the bus terminal.  There is still a Outbound ONLY detour. King Street is closed to buses from Carlisle Street to Ontario  Street and Ontario Street is closed from King Street to St. Paul Street until further notice. Bus stops temporarily out of service are the bus stop on King street at the Market Square, King Street at Queen Street, Ontario St. at Trafalgar,  for routes 2, 102, 3, 15, 115, 10, 110, 16, 116. Sorry for any inconvenience.

GO TRANSIT to ST. CATHARINES: People traveling to St. Catharines and Niagara Falls will have another way to get there – by GO Train. St. Catharines Transit will have a dedicated shuttle service for the GO train. Click here for schedule. GO Transit will run seasonal weekend and holiday train service to Niagara Region, starting this summer. This service will offer four train trips daily in each direction on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from Saturday, June 27 through to Thanksgiving weekend, Monday, October 12. Effective Tuesday May 26, 2009 a detour will be starting on the 18 Secords Wood bus and the # 11 Hartzel Thorold bus. Daytime service ONLY. Evening and weekend service will be regular route. Refer to the detours tab under the FEATURES section.

Route Interlining Change - Effective Monday April 27, 2009 until Saturday September 5, 2009.
Route #3 Pelham road when entering the downtown terminal will go back out as a Route #3 Pelham Road.

Route #2 Ontario Street when entering the downtown terminal will go back out as a Route #2 Ontario street.

Route #18 Secord Woods when entering the Pen Centre will turn around and go back as a Route 18 Secord Woods bus.

Route #15 West St. Catharines when entering the Pen Centre will turn around and go back as a Route 15 West St. Catharines bus.
Interlining will return as per Rider Guide Sunday September 6, 2009.

Q.E.W. Construction: All routes using Q.E.W. overpasses are currently maintaining regular routing. If a detour occurs please go to our Features section of our website and click on the Detours tab for your route detour. Sorry for any inconvenience. Without notice Lake Street overpass, Ontario Street overpass, Geneva Street overpass, and Welland Avenue overpass at the Q.E.W. could be closed to all traffic or reduced to one lane in both directions. There will be traffic delays on all these north end routes due to this Q.E.W. construction. Please allow yourself extra time to get to your destination. Without notice our buses could be put on detour routing.
 
Now that Spring is here road construction around the city becomes more extensive. Delays in traffic could happen without notice. Please allow yourself some extra time getting to your destination.

Welland & Niagara Falls connections at Brock University: St.Catharines Transit passengers wanting to go to Welland or Niagara Falls. Use a St.Catharines Transit bus pass, bus ticket or $2.50 cash fare and for an additional $1.50 in the St. Catharines Transit fare box you will get a transfer from the driver punched 7,8. which is then given to the next driver at the Brock University Hub. Return fares vary slightly depending on which city. For arrival / departure times and return fare information please refer to the Niagara Transit and Welland Transit website.

PASSENGER HELPFUL TIP: If your route 16 inbound bus from the TOWER is passing you on Glenridge because of full capacity and you must wait for the next available bus. Keep in mind the route16 bus is starting to unload people at the bottom of Brock Hill and now has availability. You could take the route 15 West/Brock Commuter bus down the hill and get off before it turns onto Glendale and transfer back onto a #16 Brock bus now that the bus has started to empty along Glenridge.
