Missions, Worship & Music, Pastoral Care, and Outreach.

The Stewardship & Finance Ministry
is responsible for the promotion of Christian Stewardship
of the resources within the congregation for the advancement
of God's kingdom in the world. These responsibilities include
church property and equipment, maintenance, and day-to-day
operations of the church. Contact Bob.
The Christian Education Ministry initiates,
supports and provides oversight of Christian Education for
persons of all ages. It is responsible for: cradle roll,
Bible studies, communicant classes, adult education, youth
groups, congregational newsletter, Sunday school, library,
Religion in Life for Scouting and the Presbyterian Record

The Missions Ministry informs the St. Giles
congregation of progress and concerns in the fields of Missions
and Social Justice and to represent St. Giles in maintaining
contact with and giving encouragement to the Presbyterian
Missions at home and in foreign countries. Contact Claire The Worship & Music Ministry plans the
order of service and arranges for the lay leadership, arranges
for Sunday greeters and tapes services for shut-ins. Contact

The Outreach Ministry increases the Christian
presence in the community and increases the participation
in St. Giles Church through advertising, welcoming new members
and supporting outside groups such as those in the Guiding
and Scouting movement, Howard & Linwell Seniors and
the Co-ed Fitness groups. Contact Greta.
The Pastoral Care Ministry is responsible
for visiting church members in hospitals, institutions (seniors'
homes) and at home. As well they provide tapes of sermons
to those who are unable to attend church and distribute
flowers. They also organize congregational fellowships,
grief counseling, benevolence and support service counseling.
