The members of the Outreach Ministry offer a big "THANKYOU" to all who have accepted the challenge to get involved in welcoming newcomers and returning members to St.Giles. It is really the responsibility of everyone to make visitors and new members feel welcome in our congregation.

• spoken to a stranger who is sitting beside you?
• invited someone who does not usually stay for coffee to accompany you downstairs?
• phoned someone who hasn't been out to services for a while?

Our ministry is mapping out the direction we will take throughout this year. Outreach sends welcome cards to newcomers, we have handed out Peace candles to visitors and we continue to seek out the new faces in our midst to make them feel welcome here. We would like to do more personal home visitations to newcomers and invite anyone interested in being part of a visitation team to contact the Outreach ministry.
An ad is placed each month in the Port Dalhousie Peer. This includes basic information about St.Giles as well as a brief description of events which will take place in the following few weeks. Please take time to read this ad and pass it on to others who might join us as a result of it.

The biggest "THANKS" goes to all of you who have made St.Giles your church home. We are so happy you are a part of this congregation. We invite anyone who has not yet been to St.Giles to join us for Sunday services.
