Merritton/Secord Woods

The Merritton district is located on the east side of St.Catharines. Originally a town unto itself, it still maintains its own "community" atmosphere, with all the services, sports and amenities available. Merritton borders the Welland Canal, Thorold and downtown St.Catharines. It is home to our own Stompers baseball team, as well as a superb park, pool and arena. You can stroll along the Welland Canal, play golf,  or do all your shopping (along the Hartzel Road commercial strip). Within the district known as Merritton is a development called "Secord Woods". Newer homes with pleasant winding streets are located here. This is a desirable, affordable area in which to raise a family.
