Village of
Queenston (Niagara-on-the-Lake)
Queenston is a small village on
the brow of the Niagara Escarpment, nestled along the Niagara River,
across the US border from Lewiston, New York. Attractive and rich in
history, Queenston is home to the Brock Monument (site of famous 1812
battle), Laura Secord's home and many more interesting sights. A
beautiful park surrounds the monument, a welcome retreat for summer
picnics, family reunions, weekend band concerts, etc. Up until now
Queenston has not been the site of new development, and many of the
residences are older character homes.
