- Commisioner Activities
- Our rules make several references to the Commisioner's power to enforce penalties, void trades, etc... but there is no mechanism for dealing with situations that involve the Commisioner (i.e. who has the right to void a trade involving the Commisioner?). Do we want/need one?
- Clarify starter reliever limits in the payoffs. Is it one number for the year, does it reset in the playoffs or are they unlimited in the playoffs?
- Clarify roster requirements for playoffs. i.e. 3 starting pitchers. no 9 pitcher min.
- Do we want to force teams to carry 2 players capable of catching? Do we extend to backups at other positions?
- Clarification: If a starter/reliever has an equal number of starts and relief appearances then he is allowed to make an unlimited number of relief appearances in the WNYSOMBL.
- do we really need to announce playoff rosters 48 hours in advance now that they can change between each series?
- proposal: meeting in late July, draft in late August, start play after 1 week delay
