Steubenville def. E.Aurora
WORLD
SERIES: ST. LOUIS (K.Liszewski) def. STEUBENVILLE (E.Taylor)
A very competitive season with more parity than had been seen in previous years.
Vallari's Coalminers had a fantastic year led by Frank Thomas, but would fall to the
Cardinals in the semis. Steubenville finally solved East Aurora in the other semi,
their 4th semifinal meeting, but the Cardinals dynasty continued as Matt Williams,
who was acquired in a controversial deadline trade with J.Wilke's Altoona club,
had a dominating World Series against E.Taylor's Rollers.
