It was dreamed about for years and it finally happened - a 3 division WNYSOMBL.
Bob Vyhnalek entered the league as GM/manager of the expansion Washington
Chefs, and immediately drew controversy with his use of Pedro Martinez as a reliever.
Martinez was then traded to St. Catharines.  For the 2nd straight year, E.A. and Texas
went to the 9th inning of Game 7-only this time the results were different and in Dex 
Martin's favor thanks to a stunning 2-run Rondell White HR.  The World Series was
déjà vu, as once again Hagerstown dropped the first 2 games and incredibly came back
to win the next 4.  Despite having never won a regular season pennant, J.Brierley and
his Hagerstown Storm very impressively won the title for the 3rd time in 4 years.
