Viewing/Downloading A.R.E.S. Niagara Documents

All A.R.E.S. Niagara documents are produced using Word for Windows. Then they're converted to web pages as well as to Adobe Acrobat PDF files and then the html and pdf files are uploaded to the website(s).

At times it will be useful, even neccessary, to be able to read and/or print one, or more, of these documents (very) accurately while offline.

To do this you should download the PDF version of the file and view/print it using the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your system.

Considering that there are versions of Acrobat reader for many computing platforms: Microsoft Windows 3.x, 9.x, NT, 2000; Apple Mac; various flavours of Unix/Linux such as Solaris, HPUX, IBM AIX, Red Hat Linux 5.1 and many others. And, that there are only three platforms with direct Word 6.0 document compatible viewing/printing programs, its clear why Adobe Acrobat Reader was finally selected as our distribution format

NOTE: With most web browsers, if Acrobat Reader is already installed when you click on a PDF document link then the browser will run Acrobat Reader to open the PDF document in the browser's window.

However, if what you actually want to do is to download the PDF file, you will have to either Right-click (Windows), or Shift-click (Mac), the PDF file link and select the appropriate option (eg. Save target as) from the subsequent pop-up menu.
