Vaxxine High Speed DSL Connection
Setup Instructions For Windows XP

1. From the Start Menu, click Control Panel (If you are using the classic Start Menu, click Start, Settings, then Control Panel).
2. Locate and double click the Network Connections icon.
3. Double Click on the New Connection Wizard. The "Welcome to the New Connection Wizard" dialog should appear.
4. Click Next.
5. Click the Connect to the internet option to ensure that it is selected.
6. Click Next.
7. Click Setup my connection manually.
8. Click Next.
9. Click Connect using a broadband connection that requires a username and password.
10. Click Next.
11. Type Vaxxine DSL into the ISP Name dialog box.
12. Click Next.
13. In the username dialog box, type your DSL user name.
    Please Note:
    Your user name must be followed by @vaxxine.com
    For example, if your user name is dr999vx, enter dr999vx@vaxxine.com
14. Type your password into the password dialog box.
15. Type your password into the confirm password dialog box.
16. Click Next.
17. Click the Add shortcut to this connection to my desktop checkbox.
18. Click Finish.
    The Connect Vaxxine DSL window will appear
19. Enter your password into the password dialog box.
20. You have the option to save your password (so that you don't have to type it every time you connect). To save your password, make sure that the save this password for the following users checkbox is checked, then check either the Me Only or Anyone who uses this computer option. If you do not want to save your password, make sure that the save this password for the following user checkbox is unchecked.
21. Click Connect.

To connect to the internet in the future:

1. Double click the Vaxxine DSL icon on your desktop.
2. If your username and password have not been saved, type your username in the username dialog box, and your password in the password dialog box.
3. Click Connect.

To disconnect:

1. Double click the Vaxxine DSL icon on your desktop.
2. Click Disconnect.

There is a Vaxxine DSL icon in the lower right corner of your screen (near the time) that can also be used to disconnect. To disconnect, double click on this icon, then click disconnect.
