Basic Park Rules (Complete Rules in Office)

Windmill Point Park is a privately owned campground. All entering persons are subject to park fees, rules, & regulations. Management reserves the right to refuse entry or service to anyone. Windmill Point Parks’ services, facilities, equipment, and quarry are strictly to be used for your enjoyment and to be used at your own risk. Park owners, staff, and affiliates will not be held responsible for accident, injuries, or for lost or stolen items. Anyone damaging Park property will be apprehended, visitors that do not have a valid receipt will be subject to the “Trespass to Property Act”. Management reserves the right to change or modify Park rules and rates at any time without notice. Anyone who does not comply with Park rules will have picnic and camping privileges revoked without refund.

Daytime Visitors1: subject to admission fees upon arrival and is valid on day of purchase. Visitors must check out by 9pm. A hand stamp is required for re-entry. Please stop to get one before you exit. Reservations are required for large scuba groups or by Scuba Instructor when teaching.

Overnight Campers2: upon entry, must register at office and pay overnight fees. Family camping or adult age 21 to camp (photo I.D.) in designated camp areas. Tents not permitted on serviced site. Max. 5 people or 2 adults per permit per site. Children must be at their campsite by 11pm. Check-in time: 12 Noon – 8pm. Checkout time: 11am. Reservation fee of 1 night stay is required. Cancellation fees apply.

Alcoholic Beverages: No Glass containers permitted. Cans or plastic only. All glass alcohol containers will be confiscated. Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed in public areas. Alcohol must be kept on your site. (Provincial law). No under age drinking permitted, must be age 19 or older. No driving in the Park while under the influence of alcohol. Excessive drinking/profane language will not be tolerated.

Speed limit: Max 5mph or 10km in the park. Speeders will be asked to park vehicle outside the gates, fined or denied entry. Walk when possible no driving around grounds after 11pm.

Quiet time: from 11p.m. - 7a.m. Excessive or loud noise or vulgarity at any time will not be tolerated.

Children: must be at their campsite by 11pm. A parent must accompany children 15yrs and under. Parents must supervise their children when on the premises, near the water or in a building facility. Children may not be dropped off for the day or for camping. Students’ age16-20 years unaccompanied by a parent may have to sign or have their parent sign a waiver upon entry.

Activities: performed in or around the quarry such as: swimming, fishing, scuba diving, snorkelling, hay rides, rentals or other activities is at your own risk and person is to be physically fit and in good general health. Scuba Diver’s must declare they are diving, produce a valid dive certificate and the dive waiver must be signed upon arrival. Swimming is not permitted after dusk until 7am.

NOT PERMITTED bug infested firewood or wood with nails, metal objects such as skids or building scraps, fire-works, swimming after dusk, large flamed campfires, sub-leasing, and motorbikes.

*Pets: are not permitted for day picnics. Overnight campers that have a pet must pay pet fee and camp in designated area. One, quiet, leashed pet per site. Pets not permitted near the water, in the water or on the beach. Walk your pet on the trail. Stoop–N-Scoop is enforced. No dangerous or exotic pets are permitted, such as: Rottweillers, Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, Dobermans, etc.

1"After 5 pm" special is for Adult admission only, Mon. - Thurs. (excludes holidays) not valid with any other specials.

2Trailers must have a grey-water & black-water holding tank.
