Marathon and Hall's Diving Center was a pleasant surprise. There was plenty to do in Marathon and Hall's Diving Center is a top notch operation. Friendly and helpful staff made our diving very enjoyable. They supplied complimentary tanks and weights so that I could do a check-out shore dive with my sister. She had not been in the water for over a year. Thank-you Hall's.
Lady Key Diver and her Captain Brian handled the four footers with ease. Thank-you to Brian and the Divemasters, they got us in and out of the water without mishap. The water was 75 degrees for the week and winds were brisk. Sombrero Reef was enjoyable with plenty of fish. Shallow reefs outside the park were beaten up but with plenty of fish and varieties and still a joy to dive. Complimentary bottled water and fresh citrus wedges on-board hit the spot between dives. The hot water shower on-board made changing into street clothes a pleasure. A fresh water hose was available on the dock for rinsing dive gear in our rubbermaid bin.

This is a view from the Keys Sombrero Resort and Marina. Rooms are actually one bedroom apartments with two Queens, a full kitchen with microwave, cable TV, Wi-Fi and balcony. You need a balcony to dry your gear. The three day dive package included accommodations. I recommend getting an extra night in the future.
