Canadian Destroyer
A Canadian destroyer of the Tribal Class. Launched in the 1970s, they were originally fitted out for anti-submarine warfare. A major upgrade in the 1990s overhauled them for area-wide anti-aircraft defense. Three remain in service: HMCS Iroquois, HMCS Athabasca and HMCS Algonquin. HMCS Huron was sunk in 2007 by HMCS Algonquin in a live-fire exercise.
