It is Autumn in São Francisco Xavier. São Francisco Xavier is located 159 km northeast of São Paulo in the state of São Paulo and 57 km from São José dos Campos, the home of Embraer, manufacturer of commercial, executive, military and agricultural aircraft.
Pousada Villa Vittoria is located in the country within a 25 minute walk of São Francisco Xavier. The road into town is dirt and gravel, hilly, scenic and a comfortable walk with good shoes.
Pousada Villa Vittoria has five chalets or "chalés" fully equipped and nicely appointed with a fireplace. All units have a television, DVD player, a fridge and a separate shower and large step down bath with a view.
A beautiful view of the foot hills of the Serra da Mantiqueira and the swimming pool at the Pousada Villa Vittoria. The elevation in this rural area varies from 500 to 2000 metres.

The above trout farm utilizes the mountain streams to irrigate the tanks. This fish farm has a restaurant on site for you to sample the harvest. It does not get any fresher.
