The refurbished train station Estação da Luz or Station of Light will house the Museum of the Portuguese Language opening in March 2006. This station will be the terminus of the new yellow subway line next year. In 2005, the station was linked to the Metro subway system with new pedestrian tunnels.
The Museum of Immigration in São Paulo documents the arrival of Brasil's early citizens through the port of Santos. A computer database allows you to track your family name.
The above beautiful furniture was designed by Brasilian Claudia Moreira Salles and was found on display at the Museu da Casa Brasileira in São Paulo.
